Americans are divided as to whether the current Administration is on the right path toward Making America Great Again or whether its actions represent a constitutional crisis threatening the fabric of our representative democracy. The Constitution provides three (Legislative, Executive and Judicial) separate and co-equal branches of the Federal government, each with certain enumerated powers and responsibilities with each having the ability to provide checks and balances on the action of the other branches.
“If the Executive branch is exceeding its constitutional powers, as some argue, and the current Congress and the Supreme Court are failing to impose limits on the Executive, as some also argue, how can or should the president be constrained?”
